The Box Youth Project Youth Forum 'SR3 SPEAK UP' is open to any young person who resides in the local area aged between 11 -19. The forum has a highlighted a number of local issues that affect young people locally including stray dogs, dog mess, lighting and seating areas for the Multi Use Games Area situated outside the project and youngpeoples relationships with the police. Recently, members of the forum met up with P.C. Les Jordan of Northumbria Police in order to discuss a number of these issues.  The session not only enabled the young people to voice their personal opinions to P.C. Jordan but also allowed these young people a chance to break barriers and begin to build positive relationships with the local police.
